Monarchs Baseball Guestbook

Welcome to the Monarchs guest book - we're glad you stopped by to spend some time around the old "hot stove!" Let us know what you're thinkin', and let's play two!

Winning state... no question about it.

As we all saw last night, the team and I probably played our worst games yet. In my mind I see it as games that we can move forward on. Teams that dominate the whole season get the mindset of "unbeatable." And sometimes it gets to the players.

We have an awesome team, no question about it. Let's put these two games behind us, and look forward to making a statement this weekend. Let's do what we do best - if we do.. there's no doubt in my mind we will blow these three teams out of the water.

Special thanks

Just a quick note to say thank you to Coach Dave for all the pics and stories and stats that you track! Having done this myself, it is no small task. So thank you for the EXTRA effort you do in making it possible for my parents, an hour away, to keep up on their grandson.

Thanks also to Coach Shannan and Coach Collins for taking their time and working with our boys! Go Monarchs!!

Monarchs - A Top Notch Program

I just want to say thanks to all the Monarchs coaches and players that played in the Johnson County Community College Indoor Baseball League. This group is passionate about the game of baseball and they are fun to watch.

The Monarchs coaches do a great job of teaching the game of baseball and are very passionate about what they do. They work hard for the players and are very organized. They run a top notch program and it is good to see great baseball people out there that are not just in the game for the money but helping kids achieve their dreams!

Stachys (the ACE)

I played baseball with Stachys for 3 years. I was the SS, and it made it so much easier to play when the pitcher is really good. The Monarchs are lucky to have him. He is the next MLB ACE!

I am proud!

I shall preface my remarks with the fact that it is OK to be very proud of kids if you're their grandma, right? Now I can go on and let Chris know that he has upheld the family name through all these baseball seasons...

I know a number of the other team members and consider them as part of my family. Just read through the records, and one stands out in my mind. Chris really knows how to stick his neck out, or in his case, it was usually his elbow! What a bunch of hitters, and pitchers, and runners, but best of all, each of you does your job in the spirit of the team, not just to make a name for yourself personally. You are a great bunch and have made your coach proud, I am sure! Kudos also to the families who have supported the team so well through the years. Hooray for the Monarchs!

What a great season
What a great season the team had for 2010 with a final record of 11-5. With all the pictures and statistics here on the webpage it was great fun to relive the good and bad times of all the games. A big thank you to all the coaching staff for their commitment of time and effort. Steve T.
