Monarchs Baseball Guestbook

Welcome to the Monarchs guest book - we're glad you stopped by to spend some time around the old "hot stove!" Let us know what you're thinkin', and let's play two!

Awesome Teamwork
In spite of the unusual stress at the double-header on 7/22/15, you all played amazingly well and didn't let the "bad vibes" affect your games. I'm so glad that you won and that my grandson, Kyle, was able to be a part of your team this summer. I wish I could have made it to more games. You are a great bunch of young men and terrific coaches.

Final Chapter

I would like to thank Coach Shannan for all the endless hours of coaching, teaching, working on the field,a nd much more time and effort and monies. Thanks to Coach Mitch for coaching and playing the comedian next to the straight guy (Shannan). Thanks also to Coach Dave for ALL the pictures and keeping track of the stats which were very important to helping Keary land a scholarship.

Thank you for having Keary on the team; my only regret is that it could not have started sooner, but that's hindsight. Coach Shannan, you have been very patient with Keary when he would be upset about things that happen on the field. Your smooth and calming voice was a charming effect at times. Keary always played to win and wanted desperately to lead the Monarchs to the one thing we could not get done, winning a spring championship!

I believe these players truly are their brothers keeper; when Aiden got away for a little peace, Keary, Toby, even Nick and Andrew (Aidens bro) went as far as Lawrence to retrieve and keep a brother safe. These are all good boys and they try hard. Thanks to the Seniors for lending their talents and efforts to this team. I wish the Monarchs "Good Luck" in the following seasons. As for me and my wife and son, We will ALWAYS be PROUD MONARCHS!

Thanks, Larry

This Is Our Team.

Guys, we have a great team. I know I say that a lot, but I feel like we have some hoops to jump through. We have to learn to fail with pride, knowing the next time we'll prevail. There's been a lot of being down on ourselves, throwing our things in frustration. We've got to show our class. Keep your heads high, we know there's the potential to get the job done. Keep it together guys, let's play ball like we usually do.

This game is supposed to be fun. But we've got to work at it. It's obvious this year is tougher than last year. Better teams, and better pitching. Whatever the outcome is, keep your heads up, you know your potential, and leave it on the field.

It Starts Here. (Monarch SWAG)

Here we are at the start of another season. Another year older, and a little bit better. Winter is when we start playing for the championship of the conference, and we're not gonna get second again. With this being my last year playing high school baseball, i want to make it a memorable one.

It's safe to say that our 2011 team was the best. Seemed like we spread a lot of the teams we played. Monarch Swag is what that is - no one could stop us. Lets keep the swag rollin'! If we take care of business like we always do, they are gonna have to build a bigger trophy case in the school.

True Champs!!!

Congratulations to the Monarchs players and coaches for winning the Briley Sonic Tournament! I'd have to say your program is indeed a SUCCESS as witnessed this weekend.  The Monarchs were young men of Christian Character through all five games.  True Champs!!!

Thanks!

I just wanted to thank Coach Nelson and the young men who came out to our workout last week [for Maranatha Baptist Bible College].  We were very impressed with the skill and approach that the guys brought to the activities.

I personally have been very impressed with the great strides that the Monarchs program has made, and continues to make.  This truly is a first class organization run by first class individuals. Your efforts and success has been impressive and very noticeable.

Keep up the good work and best of luck to your program as you continue to write your history.

Reaction to Pembrook Hill loses

Guys, I'm blown away. I don't know what to say about the positive reactions from several of the players on our team! It's so awesome to see how you have probably talked amongst yourselves, and pulled out all the positives of a great season to date. Granted we didn't see the best Monarchs team Tuesday; they were good, but we are truly reading some awesome stuff from the guys.

I'm surprised by my own son, but I am VERY PROUD of  him. He and Aidan,Stachys,Gage and others I may have missed on the team, are showing us what a true CHAMPION is! These Monarchs are getting it right in their head so they can get it right on the field.

Guys, I'm a Proud Monarch Parent! Let's take State and prove what you know in your hearts and minds you can do!! Great comments guys. Now you go back to work and finish what we started!!! Keary, thank you son!
