The Monarchs squad of 2011-2012 became the first team to "sign the sheet" and prepare for the college ranks. This page is dedicated to our Monarchs alumni that have made the jump to college ball, or been offered baseball scholarships. As Tiny Tim would say, "God bless 'em, every one!"
Gage Compton (2010-2012)
Gage accepted an athletic/academic scholarship from Southwest Baptist University, and signed a National Letter of Intent on November 14, 2011. He plans to join SBU, an NCAA Division II school located in Bolivar, MO, during the fall of 2012. The Bearcats compete in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA).
Gage will be playing with the MSBL Royals in the Ban Johnson league during the summer of 2012.

Coleson received an offer from William Jewell College in Liberty, MO, but although he will still attend Williiam Jewell, he will not be playing ball with the Cardinals squad.

Matt received an offer from Mid-America Nazarene University, in Olathe, KS, but has chosen to attend Pittsburg State.
Brennan received an offer from Ottawa University in Ottawa, KS, but has chosen to attend Pacific Union College in Angwin,CA.
Zach is playing as an infielder for the Ottawa University Braves in Ottawa, KS.
Eric Rausch received baseball offers from Mid-America Nazarene University, in Olathe, KS, and Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. He accepted the offer from Baker, and will be on their roster starting with the 2012-2013 school year. He signed a Letter of Intent during the May 2012 signing event at Olathe East. Eric will join his new team during fall 2012, switching from Monarchs Red to Wildcat Orange. Eric and his new teammates will compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC). The conference has 11 member schools spread over three states.
Cody received an offer from Furman University in Greenville, SC, and will be on their roster starting with the 2014-2015 school year. Cody is the first Monarch to play for a D-1 college.
Austin received an offer from Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. He accepted the offer and will be on their roster starting with the 2014-2015 season. Baker is part of the Heart of America Athletic Conference with 11 members.
Stephen Woll has chosen to play college baseball with the Mid-America Nazarene University Pioneers. He signed a Letter of Intent during December 2011. Stephen will become an official member of the team in the fall of 2012. His new squad plays games in middle America as members of the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC).
